Rayven Bridges, DPM
Associate, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
Dr. Rayven Bridges, DPM, a native of East Texas, attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX where she served as captain of her competitive cheerleading team. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA. There she was involved in multiple clubs and organizations, holding various leadership roles and co-authored a study of open versus endoscopic Brostrom techniques published in the National Foot and Ankle Review.
After living the California dream, Dr. Bridges decided it was time to get back to her Texas roots and completed her 3 year surgical residency training at St. Joseph Medical Center in downtown Houston. During this program she received diverse experiences in all aspects of the foot and ankle while rotating throughout the Greater Houston area. She has also published several trauma case reports regarding complicated fractures encountered during her training which were published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and presented at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons annual conference.
Upon completing residency, Dr. Bridges moved to the suburbs of Katy to join Texas Foot and Ankle Specialists. She believes that communication is key to treatment and by listening to each individual patient concerning their unique condition, a treatment plan can be customized giving options for conservative or surgical care. As a former athlete, she understands the importance of a safe return to activity, optimized performance, and avoidance of future injury.
As a resident of Katy, TX, Dr. Bridges and her husband Jeff enjoy exploring what the suburbs have to offer. In her free time she enjoys working out, attending baseball games, and crafting.
Dr. Bridges welcomes new patients and offers same day appointments as available.
